Good Things for 12.30.2020

Well now, it’s been a hot minute hasn’t it.  The Hubs took vacation days in order to spend the two weeks between Christmas & New Year’s at home.  That doesn’t mean I haven’t been keeping track of the Good Things.  I’ve just not shared them.  So consider this, an extra lengthy list of Good Things to take us out of one Hella of a Year (or the Year That Shall Not Be Named) & into the next.

I wish I had thought of this for our Christmas tree.

I sent this to The Bun. It’s the perfect visual of my “Mom Math”.

I also sent these while they were at work because I strive for a daily eye-roll or two:

This just made me laugh. There’s a pine tree that lives in our backyard that once I saw the headdress & arms swaying in the wind, I couldn’t unsee it. This is like that only it’s a jar, not a pine tree. You get my point.

Then there is the cuteness that oozes from those two doggos.

Daisy outdid the cuteness level when she snuggled up with The Bun on the loveseat.

This couples wedding dance made me tear up, in a good way: Couple’s First Dance

Sleeping in. Staying up late. Naps. Oh yes, all very good things. Snacks on Christmas Day, Lasagna on Christmas Eve.

And this. I should have remembered seeing it on The Bun’s Amazon order. They won the coveted Most Sneaky Pants award for Christmas gifts this year.

What they DON’T know is that this Dalek will be moving about the house. I’m going to see how long it takes for them to notice that it’s in a new place. Heh. Heh. Heh. The Hubs tried to get in on it & moved it. I noticed pretty quickly that it wasn’t in its current spot & he was promptly reprimanded.

I informed The Hubs that I was ordering these outfits for him. From Left to Right: Sexy time pajamas, everyday outfit, everyday outfit & fancy outfit to go out in. He said the only one he would even consider wearing was the sexy time pj’s because no one would see him in it & they wouldn’t be on that long. Ha!

This. Witnessing gorgeous sunrises out the front door.

That’s all for today!
