Approximate Size: 13 1/2"H X 8 1/2"W
(height includes 3 1/2" for the stand)
This is made from a kettle gourd whose shape reminded me of a chimera! I used a combination of Dr. Ph. Martins watercolours, Andirondack Inks and pyrography. This includes everything you see, the stand, the glass and candle. The inside is coated with Rust-Oleum Speciality High Heat paint and the outside is sealed with polyurethane. As with any candle, do not leave it burning unattended!
Approximate Size: 8"H X 7"W
I saw the belly button first. After that the face appeared and the rest is history! The Hooey Bird is painted and sponged with Dr. Ph Martin's watercolors in Paynes Grey. The feet are made from polymer clay, the feathers are from picks I found at Michaels and the beak is a piece of gourd. The piece was coated with polyurethane before the addition of feathers.
This was made from a pear gourd and is full of "Gourd" inspirational chips to make you smile and brighten your day. Each chip is made on a 2" round gourd piece and individually pyroengraved. This piece was stained with Adirondak inks in Butterscotch, Wild Plum, and Stream and then sealed with polyurethane.
Approximate size: 4" w X 5" H (outside)
This is one of my first rattles! It's filled with rice for a nice soft voice. It's painted in acrylics and Dr. Ph. Martin's watercolors.

"I AM PEACE." She whispered to me. And I thought I was making another Gratitude Gourdess. Instead, the first Peace Gourdess was born.
I love all the gourds I create, however, there are some that resonate very strongly with me. I fell in love with her. Peaceful, petal soft feelings wash over me when I look at her.
She's painted with acrylics. Her feather headdress is hand-beaded and the hair is 100% natural Mo-Hair.

Sun Gourdess

$35.00
She is one of the first style of Gourdesses I made! She's been updated by adding another piece of gourd to give her a mask and she's wearing a beautiful hand crafted necklace using the knotless netting technique. As with all my Gourdesses, she has a beautiful voice made from dried beans and/or rice.
She stands 9" high to the top of her headress and 5 1/2" wide. The stand is included.
Teapot & Tea Cup
***OOAK***

$100.00
Come have a cup of Happiness, Love and Peace with the gourd Teapot and Tea Cup! The Teapot is the first piece I had created by adding other gourd parts to make something specific. After that was finished, it seemed only natural to make a matching Teacup!
This is for decrative use only! It is not intended nor should be used in any other manner.
